SUMATRA PREMIUM RIPSTOP

The SUMATRA jacket evolves from the PATH overshirt in our archive, sharing its spirit and selected details while developing a completely new approach to pocket construction.

As always, the starting point is our archive. Among those references, a field jacket originally designed for tropical climates, built with protective gusset pockets to secure essential items.
We reworked this concept, introducing a new pocket system with expanded functionality. In addition to the front pockets, two side pockets are integrated into the seams, offering an additional layer of function for travel and everyday use.
A front strap, secured with a button, originates from the need to hold the shoulder strap of cameras used by reporters in the past. Today, it naturally finds new and personal uses.

The ripstop fabric, inspired by military textiles, and carefully made in Japan, is reinterpreted in a more refined way through a cotton and hemp blend. The hand feel is compact, slightly crisp, and evolves over time, becoming softer and richer with each wash.

One pocket on the chest and two NEW side pockets at the side, and the internal eyewear loop, an intuitive new feature designed for practicality.
