DELTA TELA SPAZZINO

This trouser has a rather unique story.
It’s not the usual replica of an American Army fatigue trouser, but the result of a completely different concept.

It entered our archive around fifteen years ago and represents a private purchase version – a term used in military jargon to describe garments not supplied by the administration but made privately, often by local tailors for individual operators – of a fatigue pant.

Acquired as part of a private collection, the piece appears to be a version worn by an advisor in the early 1950s, in the Southeast Asian theater.
We share the results of our research here, but remain open to updates and new findings – because research never truly ends.

This pant differs completely from the standard-issue fatigue, that is so common.

Interestingly, the sample in our archive features World War II buttons, confirming its non-institutional origin and handcrafted construction.

We’ve revised the fit while preserving the original details.

A style that will continue to be part of the UTILITY line, given the appreciation it has received.

FABRIC

Yarn-dyed fabric with cotton warp and Panama weave, characterized by an exclusive irregular slub developed in collaboration with the spinner.
It’s interwoven with traditionally twisted viscose yarns for a mouliné effect.
The tela spazzino fabric reinterprets a textile that was very popular in the 1980s, originally inspired by Italian work uniforms — part of the rebirth of refined casualwear during that decade.
We have completely reimagined it and present it here in exclusive form.
